there is a permanent installation in lower manhattan which has been there since 1977.
it is a room full of dirt. this dirt is watered regularly, combed to make sure that nothing grows, and copyrighted by the dia foundation.

it is beautiful and smells delicious. like a spring morning trapped inside a stifling white room on a piece of high priced real estate.

one look at it and all we could think was, mud wrestling anyone?
